3. Refund Policy.
4. Chargeback Policy.
5. Any other applicable process or policy.
These changes may be made at any time without prior notice. You should review the latest versions before using the portal or website.
If you are dissatisfied with the website, its content, or these terms, your sole remedy is to discontinue using the Rancard Apps portal and website.
Tampering with the website or portal, impersonating another user, or engaging in fraudulent activities is strictly prohibited.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Your use of the Rancard Apps portal and website is entirely at your own risk.
The website and portal are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Rancard and its directors, employees, developers, interns, agents, designers, contractors, merchants, and other associates make no warranties that the services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rancard shall not be liable for:
1. Direct damages.
2. Indirect damages.
3. Incidental damages.
4. Special damages.
5. Consequential damages.
This includes losses arising from reliance on information provided through the website, interruptions, deleted or corrupted files, viruses, transmission delays, or system failures, regardless of whether Rancard was advised of the possibility of such damages.
Pricing Policy
Rancard may charge convenience fees for selected services, while other services may be offered at face value without additional charges.
All convenience fees are subject to change without prior notice.
Payments
Rancard accepts multiple payment methods, including but not limited to:
1. MTN Mobile Money.
2. Direct Bank Transfer.
For most digitally delivered services, payments are processed when an order is placed or invoiced at the end of the applicable billing period.
Validating Your Order
After you register for Rancard Apps, we may verify the information you provide, including your payment method.
We reserve the right to:
1. Reject any registration request.
2. Limit access to certain features.
3. Request additional verification.
Where possible, rejected applications will be communicated using the email address or phone number associated with your account.
A valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) is required to complete registration and may be collected electronically or by telephone.
Termination of Use
Rancard may suspend or terminate your account or access to the portal at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
You remain responsible for any orders placed or charges incurred before termination.
Rancard also reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or services at any time.
Refund Policy
Subject to applicable law:
1. All transactions are considered final and refund requests are subject to review.
2. Rancard may refund convenience fees for selected services.
3. Rancard is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect transactions.
4. Any costs associated with processing a refund may be deducted where applicable.
Where required by law, certain transactions may receive different refund treatment.
Right to Refund
Merchants may receive refund requests from customers where services have not been delivered.
Merchants may also request refunds from Rancard if services purchased from Rancard have not been delivered.
Refund requests should be submitted by:
1. Emailing Rancard.
2. Delivering a written request to Rancard's registered office.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method, such as Mobile Money or Direct Bank Transfer.
Postpaid Services
Refunds are generally not provided for postpaid transactions.
In exceptional circumstances, Rancard will work with the relevant biller to review your case and determine whether a refund or other resolution is appropriate.
Prepaid Services
Rancard maintains detailed transaction records for prepaid services.
Every refund request is investigated individually. Where it is possible to reverse or return the purchased service, Rancard will make reasonable efforts to process the refund.
Additional Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your legal right to dispute a refund decision through your payment provider's refund or chargeback procedures.
Rancard complies with the rules and requirements of supported payment providers. By using Rancard Services, you also agree to the applicable payment provider's terms and conditions.
Chargebacks
A chargeback is the reversal of a card payment initiated by your bank, usually because of suspected fraud or because goods or services were not received.
Before requesting a chargeback, you should contact Rancard so that we can attempt to resolve the issue through our refund process.
How We Handle Chargebacks
When Rancard receives a chargeback notification:
1. The associated account may be blocked immediately.
2. Services linked to the account may be suspended.
3. You may receive an email or SMS requesting that you contact us.
4. Each chargeback is investigated individually.
5. Suspected fraudulent cases may be referred to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Cancelling a Chargeback
To reverse a chargeback:
1. Contact your bank and request a chargeback reversal.
2. Notify Rancard once the reversal has been initiated so your account can be reviewed for reactivation.
