Ernest Osei-Wusu
CEO


Ernest is a senior business executive with over a decade high level experience working in the software technology startup industry. He has a strong background in business, engineering and leadership. He has served global brands and brands in the sub region.

Currently, he leads the Rancard team to deliver strategic and operational corporate goals. He has built professional experience in strategic management, corporate governance, financial management, taxation and risk management enabling him to bring clarity, structure and discipline to his role. He demonstrates a high degree of innovative thinking and risk taking to achieve exceptional business performance.

Assuming the role of CEO in 2020, he led Rancard’s evolution from mobile technology software to innovative customer engagement solutions. The main goal has been to enable brands to offer a superior customer service experience to their consumers through digital channels. He has achieved business growth in newer industry segments. Currently, focused on scaling the products across the African sub region.

Ernest previously worked at SCG Consulting, Chartered Accountants, where he managed the accounting services business to provide outsourced accounting system solutions and business consulting to clients in various industry sectors.

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK (FCCA), holds an Executive MBA from the University of Ghana Business School and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

He subscribes to Albert Einstein’s view that “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death”. This drives his thirst for new knowledge which he quenches with avid reading. He often learns French with the goal to add a new language every three years. To relax, he prefers to jog, play the keyboard or travel to see nature.
